About this role

• Support month-end and year-end close process
• Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process, NetSuite strongly preferred
• Maintain Accounting Accruals and Prepaid Expense reconciliations
• Maintain and reconcile fixed assets schedules and lease schedules
• Record, review, and reconcile COGS inventory ledger and the inventory system
• Analyze trends in allowances for damaged inventory, returns, and accounts receivable
• Review cash account reconciliations
• Produce error-free accounting reports and present results
• Analyze financial information and summarize financial status
• Spot opportunities and suggest ways to improve efficiency and spending
• Review and recommend modifications to accounting systems and procedures
• Participate in financial standards setting and in the forecast process
• Prepare financial statements and produce budget according to schedule
• Assist with audits
• Assist accounting manager with compiling SOP documentation and verification of completeness of compliance efforts.

• Respond to any reasonable task as business requires or as assigned by Executive management

About you

• 5+ years of accounting experience
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required
• CPA preferred
• NetSuite experience strongly preferred (Other ERP system experience that is transferable may be considered).
• Inventory accounting is preferred
• Microsoft Office, Excel proficiency required
• Knowledgeable with US GAAP.
• Familiar with COGS Inventory ledger and the inventory system.
